Course Description
Organisations and their employees are both creators and custodians of records. Effective records management ensures that information is created, maintained, protected, and disposed of in a systematic and efficient manner.
This six-week course provides foundational knowledge for individuals responsible for records and information management within their organisations, as well as those with little or no prior training in records management.
Participants will gain a practical understanding of the principles, policies, and tools required to effectively manage both paper-based and electronic records, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and the protection of organisational information assets.
