About This Course

The Postgraduate Certificate in Bank Management and Technology (CertBMT) is a qualification for banking and financial services professionals who wish to improve their practical understanding of bank management and technology.

Delivered by Bangor University via distance learning for working professionals, the programme is offered in partnership with Chartered Banker Institute - the only banking institute in the world which can confer the Chartered Banker (MCBI) designation - a hallmark of excellence for all those within the financial services profession.

 

This programme introduces and develops understanding of the key aspects of finance, banking and technology in an international and dynamic setting. You will achieve a reflective and ethical command of core professional, practical and future orientated elements of modern banking. This will cultivate professional judgement, ethical awareness and an analytical approach to problem-solving in a banking and financial services context.

The programme is equivalent to 1/3 of an MBA and can be completed in 12 months. It provides entry to the accelerated route to the Chartered Banker MBA

​Admission & Fees

​There are two intakes a year, in April and October.

The fee for the CertBMT in the 2025/26 Academic Year is GBP £6,850.

Instalments, and equivalent payments paid in BSD and USD are accepted.
